Tom Vance (Founder, Artistic Director)
Tom is a legend in the Charlotte theater scene. He has produced/directed over 250 shows. He has been the cornerstone of the Charlotte theatrical community for decades. He is best known for his 32-year career as the artistic director of a local summer theater company, a theater arts professor, and star of the popular Tom Vance Show . Instead of retiring he is continuing his passion for theater. Tom decided to start Charlotte Summer Theater in order to take Charlotte theater to the next level. He is committed to creating an exceptional theater experience for audiences and actors, alike. Tom is proud and excited to be producing Charlotte Summer Theater at Queens University , where he serves on the faculty.
Jean Vance (Founder, Public Relations/Marketing Manager, Box Office Manager)
Jean is yet another legend of the Charlotte theater scene. She has managed box office operations of a local theater for over 20 years. Her reputation is legendary, with the right mix of Southern charm and keen business sense, Jean is leading the charge to make personal connections with each ticket buyer. Jean is excited about this new venture and is proud of all the people and theater patrons that have made this dream possible.

Scott Branstetter (I.T. Manager)
Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Scott sought a business degree in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In Scott's spare time, he enjoys traveling across the globe to such places as Thailand , the Philippines and Italy .
Devin Hamilton (Art Director)
Born and raised in Charlotte , North Carolina , Devin graduated from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro , Cum Laude in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Video Production. Devin is responsible for the graphic arts of Charlotte Summer Theater. Devin is also an accomplished screen play writer and film director, with several movies that have released national. Currently, Devin resides in Los Angeles and works for MGM.
Chris Howard (Sales Manager)
Chris
has been in the theater industry for six years. As a business major at University of North Carolina at Greensboro , with an emphasis in business management, Chris combined his love for theater with a keen business. He has been employed with several professional and educational ticket office operations. With a impressive track record under his belt, Chris management abilities is an invaluable asset to the Charlotte Summer Theater.
Elise Ikoku (Office Manager)
Elise has attended Brown University and now is seeking another major at University of North Carolina at Charlotte . Elise manages the front office operations for Charlotte Summer Theater. She has worked in professional box office operations for over four years. She has a great skill for organization and is welcome addition to the Charlotte Summer Theater staff.
Holly Riley (Production Coordinator)
Holly has served as the general manager for Vance Theatrical Organization, and as executive assistant to Tom Vance in many theatrical productions. Also a professional performer who resides in Charlotte , she recently won the 2004 MTA Award and the 2004 Creative Loaf Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her performance in Anything Goes.
Daniel Tart (Sponsorship Sales Manager)
Daniel has a business degree with an emphasis in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte . A native of eastern North Carolina , Daniel is proud of his work with handicapped children and volunteers regularly with the Special Olympics.
